Accounts and Payroll

Tanya has been with us since 2007, when Paul (a fellow Motorcycle Club committee member) asked her if she was looking for a job. Tanya had a job already but reasoned it was time for a change and she hasn’t looked back.

Previous administration roles in the public sector and finance companies prepared Tanya well for her role here at Metco which involves plenty of accounts and administration, along with a good dose of customer service and assisting staff with queries.

There is never a dull moment for Tanya, who takes care of PAYE and payroll, accounts payable, orders, invoicing, bank reconciliation and GST returns. As our longest serving office staff member, Tanya’s solid understanding of systems and procedures makes her our primary “go to” person for staff and often for Metco’s customers as well.

Other interests have taken the place of motorcycles over more recent years. Today you’re more likely to find Tanya baking or sewing in her spare time, doing a spot of retail therapy or indulging in a good Netflix session.
